There's the problem Steve... You're waiting for the ice to freeze.  Ice 
doesn't freeze!!  It's the water that freezes. <g>  And it hasn't been cold 
enough, long enough for the water to freeze.  I have a feeling you won't 
get any ice racing in this year. At least not on Newfound Lake.
